About Us

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

The Beauty Bus is a fully equipped salon on wheels that travels to or near clients for a convenient, on-the-go beauty experience. It can be booked for single appointments, group services, classes, bridal showers, proms, and other private events. The bus can also be rented as a unique venue for small gatherings—beauty services not required (recommended for 15 people or fewer for comfort). Licensed stylists are welcome to lease the bus and use the salon equipment for their own clients. Whatever you have in mind, feel free to inquire!

Our Story

I never set out to do hair—it actually started because I didn’t like the styles my mom would do in mine. As a 14-year-old in 9th grade, I started doing my own hair, and before long, people were asking me to do theirs too. Once I began charging, I realized I was making more money doing hair than I did at my part-time job, waiting two weeks for a check. That’s when I knew I had something real. I enrolled in cosmetology school while still in high school and became a licensed stylist by the time I graduated in 2008. I’ve always loved to travel, thanks to my dad taking our family on trips, so when he surprised me with a salon after graduation, I turned it down. I wasn’t ready to be tied down—I told him I’d build a traveling salon instead. I had no clue how I’d make it happen, but I knew I had to try.

In 2016, I bought a 13-foot office trailer, only to learn my truck couldn’t pull it—and I couldn’t afford a new one. I kept searching and eventually found a bus someone had been living in. I bought it in 2017 and began the conversion journey from scratch. Since then, I’ve built out two buses—one is a party bus/salon and the other is a home/salon combo. Both have allowed me to serve clients in different cities while living and working on my own terms. Now, I’m even considering turning one of the buses into an Airbnb rental. This path has been anything but traditional, but it’s uniquely mine—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
